Are you interested in a career in the automotive industry? Or maybe you just want to be able to better take care of your own car. Either way, Santa Ana College’s Automotive Technology program can help you. Through their courses, you’ll learn about everything from engine repair to brakes and suspension.

So why not use the opportunity to change things up? And don’t worry – they’ve got something for you too! They offer childcare during class hours so that parents can attend classes or work. The short length of our program means that students graduate quickly, said Assistant Professor Michael Nappa. We do everything we can to minimize their time in school while maximizing their learning.

Our instructors not only teach them what they need to know but also how to use what they’ve learned when confronted with real-world situations. They’ll also learn everything from engine diagnostics and repair to suspension systems, chassis, brake systems, electrical systems, fuel systems, emissions control technology, transmission and drive train components, plus many other related topics. Students will also spend one week each semester at an auto body shop where they’ll hone their skills by performing tasks such as installing side skirts or painting panels.
