Sindh Prison Department Jobs: Don’t Miss Your Chance to Become a Jail Police Constable!

The Sindh Prison Department has announced that it plans to recruit 102 jail police constables to help alleviate some of these issues and improve conditions inside of the province’s correctional facilities.
What is Jail Police?
The Sindh Prison Department is in charge of prisons and jails, police stations and other correctional facilities.
The department has some really exciting opportunities for anyone who wants to get involved in the criminal justice system.
Jail Police Constables are responsible for providing security at the prison and ensuring that there is no escape or illegal activity taking place.
Females are encouraged to apply as they can work inside the prison and be protected by female guards while on duty.
You will also have access to childcare facilities if you need them.
The job starts with a one year probationary period and you would be eligible for promotion after completion of the first six months of service.
You would be expected to do night shifts from 8pm-8am.
It’s an entry level position but we still require at least five years of relevant experience or training before being considered for this post.
The salary package for this job varies depending on the educational qualifications.
For example, if you have an Intermediate Certificate or Diploma, you’ll make around PKR 25,000-30,000 per month.
If you have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, your salary will increase to between PKR 40,000 and 45,000 per month.
The base pay for this position starts at PKR 16,500 per month plus other benefits such as overtime pay and pension.
Other benefits are also available with these jobs including housing assistance, medical coverage, maternity leave, and children’s education allowances.
Required Qualification For The Posts
Candidates should have the required qualification of Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized institution.
Candidates should have the minimum height of 5 feet 4 inches.
Candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and should be Pakistani citizen by birth with domicile in Sindh Province.
